Last Sunday I gave a recital at Janet Clarke Hall, University of Melbourne, as part of a talk by biographer Ann Blainey on her book ‘I am Melba’. Accompanied by Jack Tan on piano, I sang Nellie Melba’s favourite encores, including Dvořák‘s Songs My Mother Taught Me, Bishop’s Home Sweet Home, and Tosti’s Goodbye.
