Performances in Frankston and Adelaide
On Saturday 18 May I can’t wait to perform a short set of songs as part of the Mornington Peninsula Welsh Ladies Choir autumn concert! I’ll be singing folk songs by Manuel de Falla, Benjamin Britten and Aaron Copland, with a nineteenth century campaign song thrown in for good measure (being election day and all…!!). Starts at 2:30pm, and admission is free. See the poster below for further details!
The following Wednesday 22 May I will be hot-footing it to the Pilgrim Church in Adelaide, where Hugh Fullarton and I are premiering another exquisite song cycle by Andrew Anderson: ‘Songs of Sleep’. ‘Sleep’ is the theme of our recital program, and audience members can look forward to lullabies and songs by Brahms, Schubert, Mozart and more. The performance is presented by Recitals Australia. Starts at 12:10pm, and entry is $5 at the door.
